A: No, we welcome families from all faith backgrounds, as well as those with no religious affiliation, who share and respect our community values. While we are proud of our Catholic traditions and teach religious education, our core focus is on building a warm, inclusive environment rooted in faith, hope and love.
How does the school support student wellbeing?
A: Student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Led by our Principal, Angie Mastoras (who holds a Master’s Degree in Student Wellbeing), we take a proactive approach to mental, emotional and social health. We have dedicated Student Wellbeing Leaders, a school counsellor, and structured programs to ensure every child feels safe, connected and heard.
Q: What does the curriculum look like?

Whether your child needs extra learning support or academic extension to stretch their capabilities, we tailor our approach to ensure they can thrive.

A: Yes, St Roch's has a compulsory school uniform that fosters a sense of pride and belonging. We have seasonal summer and winter uniforms, as well as a dedicated sports uniform for PE and sports days. Our uniform supplier is Bob Stewart.
The Enrolment Process
Q: What happens during the Enrolment Interview in April?
A: Please don't be nervous! The interview is a friendly, relaxed conversation between your family (parents and child) and our Principal and Deputy Principal. It is simply an opportunity for us to get to know your child’s unique personality, interests and needs and for you to ask any specific questions you may have.
Q: Is there an enrolment fee?
A: Upon accepting a formal letter of offer in May, a non-refundable holding deposit of $500 is required to secure your child’s place. To support our families, $400 of this amount is credited directly back to your school fees account when your child commences.
