Senior School

At St Roch’s, the journey toward a confident transition to secondary school begins the very moment a student enters Prep. Through our structured, developmental leadership program spanning Prep to Year 6, we actively cultivate student voice and agency, empowering our children to make a tangible difference in their school today and in the wider world tomorrow. By the time our students reach the senior years, they are uniquely equipped for the next step in their educational journey. They emerge not only academically prepared to meet new challenges, but also deeply grounded from a wellbeing perspective—standing as resilient, confident problem-solvers who possess the emotional tools and self-belief to truly thrive in secondary school and beyond.

Wellbeing
As students enter their final years at St. Roch’s, our Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) approach focuses on self-regulation and personal responsibility. We know that readiness for secondary school requires more than just academic skills; it requires emotional intelligence.
Through advanced instruction in the five core competencies, we empower students to take ownership of their choices. Whether managing peer relationships or making ethical decisions online, our seniors build the resilience and character needed to thrive in a changing world.
