We have been blessed with some lovely weather and have enjoyed the laughter and chatter in the playground in our corridors and classrooms. It gives us great joy to see the many children wanting to play in the sandpit with the newly purchased sand pit toys!!!

Our focus on developing a love of reading has been strengthened by relocating the library into the muliti-purpose room on the third level of our main school building. As the centre of our school, we have transformed this space into a flexible learning space. Pauline Flinn and Carmel Rozario along with a team of people carefully considered every furniture piece and placement to ensure the new space is bright, fresh, clean and inviting. We are grateful for their time and foresight.

The students have begun borrowing books and teachers will be taking lessons in this amazing space to encourage a love of reading and learning.

This weeks Newsletter also features information about our Beginning of Year Mass, the start of STEM and Art as well as upcoming important events. We hope you enjoy reading all about the last two weeks at St Roch's.
