What a wonderful day we had last Friday celebrating the return of our students to school after the lockdown. The celebrations continued through the day as the students of 3/4SM thanked Lisa McKeon for teaching them on Friday's this year and as a school we farewelled Mrs McKeon as she begins maternity leave. We wish Lisa all the very best as she prepares for their new baby and we can’t wait for the special visit soon when we will get to meet this little treasure.

To celebrate Catholic Education Week online this year, primary schools were invited to enter a music competition as part of Concert in the Park Reimagined and St Roch’s were the Eastern Region winners!!! Congratulations to our Year 6 Students and Performing Arts teacher Trish O'Gorman. Their wonderful winning performance can be viewed on the home page of our website.

The last two weeks of the term is always an exciting and busy time in a writing classroom as students come to the end of the learning cycle about a particular genre. It is wonderful to see our students becoming confident writers who enjoy sharing their published work in creative ways.
